Malice by Amity Hope
*First book in a trilogy. Young Adult Romance/Paranormal, Urban Fantasy
Many people are leery of Levi, their new guest. He claims to be in town doing research but Samara’s friends aren’t so sure that his claim is as innocuous as it appears to be. When two of her classmates disappear, her friends seem convinced Levi had a hand in it.
Those closest to her have been keeping secrets from her. Those secrets put everyone close to her in danger.
Suddenly, her unrequited crush on her best friend, Tristan becomes the least of her troubles.

Review:
This book was my kinda book. From the characters to the storyline I really enjoyed it. Normally when I do reviews I start off with something from the story line and my reaction comes at the end but to be honest this was more of a pleasure read for me. When I started thinking of what I wanted the review to say and how I should explain why someone else would be interested in it, my first thoughts were of my own reactions and how it wasn't one thing that I could use as a selling point. It was the whole package. I enjoyed every minute of it. I had a very busy week and found myself getting in pages and chapters when and how I could. I will be recommending this one to my daughter and anyone else I can!
Sam, Tristan, Fin, and Daphne are all such realistic characters that I could picture them as friends of my daughters. I could imagine a getaway to the B n B. I could even imagine the magic is real... and the great characters and well told story that it starts off as becomes an amazing tale and an adventure I'm glad I went on.
