Review of Redesigning Fate by AM Wilson

REVIEW:

Wow what a 5 star read! This is the second book I have had the pleasure of reading by A.M. Wilson. She knows how to get your attention and keep it. Her storylines are wonderfully written. The characters are This book takes you on a journey. Such an exciting and mysterious read. It will keep you wondering what is next. I just couldn't stop reading. Elias is sexy and mysterious. What exactly is he hiding? Marlena is such an amazing character that has definitely had her ups and downs in life. Is Elias something she needs in her life after the relationship she had with Travis? Be prepared to leave everything behind because you will not be able to put this book down.

Review of Indisputable by A.M. Wilson

REVIEW:

I give this book 5 stars....without question! I loved this book. The characters are so real. The story is so believable. A.M. Wilson is a terrific story teller. I was sucked in this book and couldn't put it down. I was worried about the whole teacher/student relationship. I was thinking I would be left with an feeling of disgust because of the relationship between them. I am happy to say that was not the case. The characters are attracted to one another, but they build a relationship throughout the book. It isn't ok I am madly in love with you, marry me.   This book will make you wonder will they go ahead and just go for it.  A great debut book! Great job!

About Gibson’s Legacy

Gibson Barclay has been famous for almost seven years and he's only twenty four.

Seldom does anyone pick up a magazine, newspaper or watch a television entertainment show, without seeing his image or reading about his promiscuous antics. He had no need to court publicity with his magnetic charm and charismatic ways; when he chooses to cooperate that is. Shrugging off the advice of publicists and image consultants, Gibson makes no excuses for who he is, and with no ties, he answers to no one about how he chooses to live his life.

From teenage musician to twenties mega rock star, Gibson has seen and done it all. Women fantasize about him and men envy his rock scene, womanizing lifestyle. Only one person ever made Gibson feel uncomfortable about the way he lived his life. No one ever said no to him that he can remember, although there was two minute events that he has never been able to shake from his mind. Both of those events involved the way Chloe Jenner looked at him. It was something and nothing, but for him, the impact haunted him. In the strangest twist of fate, something so wildly obscure occurred, that set his mind ablaze with the memory of that small encounter.

Like all women, Chloe found Gibson striking and had even shared with friends, her own guilty fantasy about him. Fantasy and reality were poles apart and Chloe believed that Gibson Barclay never even knew that she existed.

*Adult Contemporary Romance – Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not suitable for readers under the age of eighteen.*

Excerpt

Hands invaded my body space and ran up and across my pectorals, my head dropping to see what she was doing. She glided her palms around and under my arms, until they stopped on both scapula bones on my back. Stroking me, she smiled suggestively and continued to trail downwards toward my ass, and by the time I made eye contact with her, she was so close her hot panting breaths were fanning over my face. Groupies had no shame. Then again, I was so fucking wired after the gig, I needed something to bring me down, and an easy fuck meant I didn’t have to be charming or polite to anyone. This girl knew the score and she was begging for it.

About the Author

K.L. Shandwick lives on the outskirts of London. She started writing after a challenge by a friend when she commented on a book she read. The result of this was “The Everything Trilogy.” Her background has been mainly in the health and social care sector in the U.K. She is still currently a freelance or self- employed professional in this field. Her books tend to focus on the relationships of the main characters. Writing is a form of escapism for her and she is just as excited to find out where her characters take her as she is when she reads another author’s work.

Gibson's Legacy (Last Score, #1)Gibson's Legacy by K.L. Shandwick
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First let me just say WOW!!!! This is an amazing book. Gibson Barclay is one hot rock star. His band M3rcy plays at a local college bar. Chloe works there and has encountered him and a groupie one too many times. Gibson not being shy continues his workouts every time while an embarrassed Chloe runs and hides. Sometimes the strangest things happen for a reason. Chloe and Gibson’s story definitely that. This book will tug on your heart strings and get you hot and bothered. KL Shandwick has created a hot rock star for everyone’s enjoyment. It is impossible to not fall for Gibson and feel Chloe’s pain and fear. A well written story about fame, love, heartbreak, and things that sometimes are just meant to be.Gibson's Legacy

Mistaken Identity by TC Matson Teaser Blast

Life sometimes gives you a fork in the road and doesn’t give you a hint of which direction to take. There’s no signs, no arrows, no neon lights to help. Luckily, Samantha Beckman chose the right path years ago and escaped from the horrors of her childhood. Along with her best friend, Jess, she lives a wonderful life—happy and carefree just as any twenty six year old should.

Opportunity arises when Samantha lands the job of a lifetime as the COO’s executive assistant for North Carolina’s leading corporation, Weston Company.

Yet, not everything is as it seems. Samantha soon learns Mr. Eye Candy from the elevator isn’t who he says he is, the sexy construction worker isn’t what she thought he was, and don’t forget about her new unwanted and clever stalker. Maybe her life isn’t as simple as she hoped it would be.

Caught in the sights of two men and a stalker, Samantha is forced to decide between flight and fight, fear over strength. Will she be able to take the right path again, or has her luck finally run out?

This book blew me away. I loved this book from the first chapter. TC Matson is a very talented writer. We are introduced to Samantha and Jess, two best friends who share an apartment together. Jess helped Samantha get a job where she works. Soon there are three new men in Samantha's life.

Who could the stalker be? Is it a former love interest? A new love interest?
Is it someone jealous of the attention she is getting?
Or could it be someone who has just admired her from afar?

New independent author, TC Matson, loves to let her characters voices be heard. With a head full of stories, she puts her keyboard through a beating daily. Regularly she visits the solidity of her writing cave, whether it be on the couch, at her desk, or wherever the three year old can’t reach the laptop. Currently she is publishing her debut novel, Mistaken Identity that’s set to storm the web in the fall of 2014.

She is an avid reader and is known to devour books within hours. As a romance junkie, Matson sets her sights to try to find stories that are relatable and real. She’s not a fan of vampires, fairies, or any other out of this world fiction stories. And understanding that love isn’t always instant and full of flowers…her writing mirrors it.

Matson resides in the peaceful piedmont area of North Carolina with her husband and three boys where she stays hopped up on caffeine and chasing children. She has a relatively normal life managing her home, or as she calls it, her looney bin. Chaos is indefinite and a sense of humor is absolutely a must.

If you are looking for a laugh out loud read, then look no further. Sex in The Title by Zack Love will definitely have you laughing.

Sex in the Title - a Comedy about Dating, Sex, and Romance in NYC (back when phones weren't so smart)

I was worried about reading this book. I am so glad that I did. A great funny laugh out loud book. Just a warning people might give you strange stares because you will laugh out loud like a crazy person. In this book you meet different men and their adventures in dating and sex. It is very refreshing to read about relationships and sex from a male perspective. Evan and his bad experience with a prostitute is very memorable and hilarious. I highly recommend this book. It is set back in the 90's and early 2000's and it is a nice blast from the past. The situations that these men find themselves in are so funny and realistic. I just hope Zack isn't writing from experience in this one.  I can't wait to read more from Zack Love.

Book Description:

New York City, May 2000. The Internet bubble has burst and Evan, a computer programmer, is fired with an email from his boss. The next day, his girlfriend dumps him, also via email. Afraid to check any more emails, Evan desperately seeks a rebound romance but the catastrophes that ensue go from bad to hilariously worse.

Fortunately, Evan meets Sammy -- someone whose legendary disasters with females eclipse even his own. To reverse their fortunes, they recruit their friends -- Trevor, Yi, and Carlos -- to form a group of five guys who take on Manhattan in pursuit of dates, sex, and adventure.

When Evan, a closet writer, falls desperately in love with a Hollywood starlet, he schemes to meet her by writing a novel that will sweep her off her feet. Sammy knows nothing about publishing but is confident of one thing: Evan's book should have the word "sex" in the title.

With musings about life, relationships, and human psychology, this quintessential New York story about the search for happiness follows five men on their comical paths to trouble, self-discovery, and love.

A great love story! Wanted By You by Steph Nuss

If you enjoy a sweet and caring love story then this book is a must read. Steph Nuss has struck gold in this story. It is about two friends Carter and Elly who have feelings for each other, but they don't tell each other because they don't want to ruin the friendship. They lose touch. A few years pass and they find each other again. They fall in love. Carter helps Elly through a tough time. He is the perfect boyfriend. (I have a new book boyfriend now) ;) Carter is so loving and caring. This book isn't all fight and make up. It is nice to read something a little different from the everyday love story where break ups and fights are always happening. I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fantasized by You (Love in the City Book 2) by Steph Nuss

A very good book. This book is the second in a series. Hopefully we will be seeing a lot more. Harper is in the fashion industry. She has some real world issues that she has overcome. She had an eating disorder. She lost a friend to this disease and it made her wake up. Maverick is a gym owner who hates the fashion industry because his friend (who was also Harpers) died from an eating disorder. He offers mental health counseling because of this. He doesn't like Harper at first because of her involvement with fashion. Then sparks begin to fly. You can feel the chemistry between these two. Even though this book is the second in a series, it can be read as a stand alone. It touches base with some characters from the first book. Harper is also introduced in the first book. I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book about love. I was given this book for an honest review.

Highly recommended! Call It Fate by Elizabeth Wyke

If I could I would give this book 10 stars. I loved this book. I can't get interested in another book. I have tried to read a few others and nothing is holding my attention. I need more Hannah and Rush.  Hannah meets Rush in the college library (where he works) while looking for a book. She found the book, but Rush instantly takes it away. He tells her it is a banned book and she can't have it. She decides she has to have it. She wants to know what is so bad about it that it is banned. She befriends him hoping to get the chance to steal it back. The fact that he makes her feel warm and fuzzy inside (something that has never happened before) is a huge plus. As their story unfolds we find out some very interesting things about Hannah. Rush isn't exactly who we think he is. Hannah's best friend Macy tries and tries to play match maker, but no one can hold Hannah's interest except Rush. Rush and Hannah were made for each other. They were meant to be and when fate is involved nothing can keep it from happening. I loved the concept of this book. It was a great read from beginning to end. I hated when it was over. I am looking forward to the next book and it can't get here soon enough. Elizabeth Wyke is an extremely talented author and I am glad that I got introduced to her work. I suggest this book whole heartedly. Do not let the fact that it has some sci-fi themes keep you from it.

My Review of Nothing Like The First Time by Keren Hughes

*This NA Contemporary Romance story contains sexual content and language aimed at a mature audience. 17+*

Carly Summers and Greyston Sterling were each other's first kiss, first sexual experience, first love, first everything…

They were a match made in Heaven, that was, until Grey took a job as a freelance photographer which took him to the other side of the world. When it came down to a choice between his career and his girl—he chose his career.

Now, 10 years later, Grey's back in town and wants to see if they can rekindle what they had all those years ago. Carly has had relationships but nothing that lasted. No one ever compared to Grey.

But how can they if he's engaged to somebody else?

My Review:

When you really love someone it never changes, no matter what you go through the love is always there. Carly and Greyston are a perfect example of proof. They had a young love but it was a true love and after years of being apart fate brings them back into each others lives. It's not as easy as the first time, there's so many twists and obstacles in their way... but they do say true love can conquer all...
The characters are amazing and so real. The storyline lets you think you have it all figured out then it would hold true to real life and have the characters having to overcome something that I'd find myself waiting and hoping they would and I couldn't put it down until I found out how they did. A wonderfully engaging storyline :)

This was my first time reading this author but it will not be my last!!
